It was another day of in-decision and not knowing here in NYC today. The power has been consistent though, so that is a big plus. I have fared far better than some of my friends here. Some of them are under water and with no power or water. Some of them have been evacuated. I am faring far better, although going a bit stir-crazy. There’s bus service back as of this afternoon and the cabs are running so tomorrow morning I am going to get up and attempt to go into the office – we should be open as usual. We’ll see how that goes.
I’m going to plan on hitting the gym again on my way home as well since the gym is open again and I haven’t been in a few days. Sunday is my day off and they were closed on Monday and most of today. Running was a bit of an obstacle course this morning with all the trees and branches down – so when I went out to take some pics and survey, I decided I was safer not running and having trees or branches fall on me. I’ll hit the gym tomorrow and pick up from there.
