*** Day 237 – Sheath Underwear ***

Sheath. Stick your sword in it. That’s the tag line from Sheath‘s website. I actually think its a bit of fun. My sword has been in my Sheath all day. A few weeks ago I sported some Cocksox undies, and as usual, posted my pics to twitter. Not long after that I got a tweet from the folks at Sheath that told me I would love their underwear – and how could they send me a pair? After a few email exchanges, my pair of Sheath were on their way. When they arrived, they were a few sizes to large, unfortunately.

I sent the owners an email and thanked them for the undies, and told them I was passing them along to another blogger here so that he could wear them and review for them. I passed them along, and you’ll see that review later on as well. I got a really nice response that another pair, that would fit me was on it’s way. So, today, it’s been my pleasure to be wearing Sheath in White.

I’m not normally a fan of white underwear, but every once in a while you do need white underwear – under light shorts or pants…or just when you want to convey a more virginal image. =) If you’ve been reading my last several reviews, you know that I have been focused on Comfort, Fit and Style/Looks. I thought, why not just continue with that line of reviewing.

We’ll start with Fit. These fit me quite well. I am happy to say that they slid on and fit well from the start. I didn’t get the sense that the waist was too big or too small. The leg openings were also a great fit. Not too tight and cutting off my circulation, but not so loose that they rose up my legs all day. The ass fit quite well, and I am happy to report that it did not get saggy at all on me all day. That’s a huge plus when it comes to boxerbriefs, of which I am not a huge fan – for that reason.

Now let’s talk Comfort. These are made of 100% cotton and are so comfortable, yet hold their shape well. It is a bit different from the traditional hang free pouch that has been the focus of so many other brands. It’s not an enhancing pouch either, at least it’s not designed as one. It lets you hang free, but more in a commando style than anything else. I knew that I had underwear/boxerbriefs on today, but I felt like I was going it commando, and that’s definitely the way it looked in my shorts as I dangled my way all over the city. They weren’t uncomfortable, but they did take a bit of getting used to. Even in the hang free underwear I feel like I have a bit of stability – these really made me feel like I was commando, even though I wasn’t.

Last up is Style/Looks. I am not a huge fan of boxerbriefs, as a general rule. That’s the only style that Sheath makes. Looks wise, I wish that that the pouch was made a bit more form fitting. I love the feeling of going commando whilst wearing underwear, but I felt really in-adequate in the bulge department, because I felt like I wasn’t filling the pouch much at all. It’s not a huge issue, I know that I’m average in that regard, and I am completely okay with it, so it wasn’t a feeling of inadequacy in that regard…more that there was all this extra material. I kind of felt like I was wearing Mormon sacramental garments – at least what I have seen or know of them. It’s not a minus – just an observation. They are traditionally styled boxerbriefs and I definitely felt a bit more covered than I usually am. I would love to see what the folks at Sheath could do to a pair of briefs! (just sayin)

Now, onto the ratings scale. For those loyal readers, you know our scale, for first time readers, or those that don’t remember – here’s a refresher:

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.

Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in years and will be part of your regular wear.

Based on our scale, these are a solid Dating Material. I think perhaps in briefs that would have risen a bit, but they are definitely a great pair of undies! Super comfy, easy to wear and felt amazing on…all high marks! Like I said, I would love to see what the guys at Sheath could do with some briefs!

Special thanks to Robert and the guys at Sheath Underwear for sending these boxerbriefs along for the purpose of this review. If you’re sick of your boys getting crushed when you’re out and about I highly suggest getting some Sheath to put your sword in! =)
