It’s Pride weekend here in NYC and I have been doing my best to be festive. It’s really been a momentous week for the LGBT community here in this country. I went to the gym and had a bit of cardio and then went grocery shopping – I’m marching in the parade tomorrow and I just wanted to make sure everything was done – and then got my nails done. I decided to be a bit festive and strayed from my clear polish routine and put some colour on in honour of pride. So now I’m walking around with blue nails…we’ll see how long it lasts. I look at them and still have a moment of disconnect when I realize it’s my nails I’m looking at in blue.
