Fitness Challenge update

After battling a nasty flu bug for awhile, I’m back on track with the fitness challenge and seeing some nice results so far this month.

The easiest part was moving to about 5 small meals a day, and loading up on low calorie veggies, whole grains, and healthy fish selections. I actually cleaned out my refrigerator and pantry to either donate or toss away any of the unhealthy items that have been lingering around. If you haven’t cleaned out such items, I totaly recommend it.

The physical exercises started out a bit rough, but my stamina for pushing through has increased each week. Pushups to failure was the hardest for me, since I want to keep pushing myself to do more and more each time! So far for January, I’m down 5 pounds, and loving it.
