2(x)ist Review: Touch Boxer Brief

Hey guys!  Tyler here to talk about the 2(x)ist Touch range.  Undiesboy was good enough to get me a great sample pair of these to run around in for a little bit and report back!

They treated the bulge well.  +1!

I have a long standing, albeit casual love affair with the 2(x)ist brand. They were the first underpants I ever owned (when I started buying my own in high school) that felt like they were designed by someone who understood male anatomy.  Up till then it had been a lifetime of briefs that just crushed and smashed my good bits up and against me.  Excepting a quick phase where I only wore boxer shorts, I’ve always worn briefs, and the discovery of something that not only accomodated my junk but actually made it look BETTER 90% of the time was a revelation to my teenage mind.  I quickly bought several more pairs and virtually lived in them until I discovered more exciting options later on.

Needless to say, they’ve always been my default brand, when I just need something that will look good and feel good and not get weird midway through my day.  The Touch range is no exception to this, though it’s hardly a major leap forward for underpants aficionados.

According to 2(x)ist, this whole line boasts “Irresistible fabric pairs with a robust, engineered fit. You’ve always had five senses. Now you have a favorite. 2(X)IST TOUCH.”  I would agree with most of that, though my favorite sense will probably stay ‘smell.’  Just because it seems so superfluous in comparison to the other four; nobody needs ‘smell’ to survive.  But these briefs are really well shaped and kept their shape and comfort all day.  The thick waistband is comfortable, if a bit showy for my tastes.  But if you want dudes to know what your brand is, it’s loud and clear.  The fabric is good, but didn’t blow my mind.  It is pretty much seamless under pants though, which is great.  No weird leg hole seams pressing their way out through my overly tight jeans at work – Fruit of the Loom: I’m looking at you.

There’s my butt.

Despite my sort of lukewarm reception to their workhorse-ness, they’re easily a solid Match Made In Heaven – I will keep these and wear them regularly like I do all my 2(x)ists.  Dunno if I’d pay extra for the Touch line, but if price weren’t a factor, these are comfortable and casual and do exactly what it says on the tin.

Thanks to 2(x)ist and Undiesboy for a good new addition to the collection.
