Fitness Challenge Intro – Blake



Hi! My name is Blake and I’ve been reading Undies101 for some time now as an underwear enthusiast as well as an industry insider – I work for Freshpair.com. I’ve always been on the thin side and am really looking forward to bulking up a bit.

Confidence isn’t much of an issue for me. I’ve hit thirty and have grown comfortable in my skin. But, there are definitely times when I look in the mirror and wish I could improve this or that. Additionally, I have seasonal affective disorder and tend to be a bit lethargic during the winter months. I’m hoping to bulk up, but also to keep active and upbeat during a season when I’m tempted to just crash on the sofa with a whisky and a good movie.

I was blessed with a high metabolism and can tone pretty quickly. However, I’ve never really been given fitness advice and don’t know the best routine for my body. My chest and arms are pretty easy to keep in shape with push-ups and curls, but I have difficulty with my legs and butt. I’m really hoping to expand my strength by targeting all areas of my body and gaining a better understanding of my muscle system.

I’ve never been to a gym and I’ve never had a workout routine. Hopefully, in the coming weeks and months, I’ll have some noticeable progress to show. Naturally, this is also a great excuse to buy some new performance underwear and shorts, so I’ll be providing some reviews as to how they hold up during different types of workout. I hope you’ll follow along and share your own advice and anecdotes with me along the way.
