*** Review – Day 239 – Tommy Hilton Yellow Trunks ***

I’m really excited to the first in the week long reviews of Tommy Hilton Underwear. We are really excited to have the opportunity to review Tommy Hilton for you. We have a few regulars and a few guests lined up to review them for you and we hope that you like them all.

A little background on Tommy Hilton, since this is our first post/review of them. Tommy Hilton is a new innovative brand who introduced their 100% Organic Cotton underwear range around 12 months ago. Their aim is to offer a stylish and comfortable design at a reasonable price. The various styles come in bright and engaging colours that are sophisticated and designed with the comfort of the user in mind.
I have the pleasure of reviewing their Yellow Green low rise boxers. There are a few different styles and colours that you’ll see throughout the week, but when I got the package of these, all it said was yellow and the only colour visible was yellow. I was really excited when I got them out of the package and they had a pop of green to them. Sometimes it’s just that little bit extra, that pop, that sets something apart.

I’ve been focused on Comfort, Fit and Style/Looks when I’ve reviewed the last few pairs I have been able to review. I would really like to keep on trend with that. I’ve talked a bit about Style/Looks so far, so let’s wrap that category up. These sit low on the waist, and help to accentuate the positives, that pop of green makes the rest of the yellow colour really pop and sets it off from being just a plain pair of trunks.

As for Comfort and Fit, I’m going to be a bit different and combine the two today. These are some of the most comfortable trunks I’ve worn. The fact that they are low rise makes them a great addition to anyone’s collection. I don’t feel like they sit too high on my waist, they don’t extend down my leg too much and they cover what they need to cover but not too much. They hugged every curve from the moment I put them on this morning, and they still are now as I type this. They did, toward the end of the day start bunching up in the leg a bit, but not too drastically, so no real points off there. They are true to size, if not a bit generous. I feel like I might have been able to pull off a small, these mediums are not too tight, nor are they loose. Almost a perfect glove like fit. Really hard to pull off!

Now, onto the ratings scale. For those loyal readers, you know our scale, for first time readers, or those that don’t remember – here’s a refresher:

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.

Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in years and will be part of your regular wear.

For me, this is a hard pair to review. I would say that they are more than Dating Material but a bit less than a Match Made in Heaven…can I just Go Steady with them? They are definitely a great pair of pants to wear all day long without any hassles or headaches and I do love the fit and the style. I’m going with Go Steady…more than Dating Material and less than a Match Made in Heaven.

We’d really like to thank Tommy and the folks at Tommy Hilton underwear for being so generous and providing these trunks and all the others that you are going to see this week for the purposes of review. If you like what you see, head on over and check them out. Great undies at a great price!
